Jerry Scott is unable to make it to Toonfest in Marceline, MO, so the nice people of Toonfest have asked Tom Richmond to take his place. Tom spoke there in 2005, and I’ve got to say he’s a very good speaker. Very interesting and fun guy. He was also going to be there anyway this year, so he was a natural choice to emcee the thing.

I’ve tested 2 self-hosted email subscription options, and neither were able to send the comics with the email. Not acceptable. I’ve now tested Feedburner, and am blown away by it. While I prefer to keep my reliance on as few services as possible… Feedburner does subscriptions way better than anything self-hosted.

I doubt he’ll be wearing it to Toonfest this year, though, although if he’s ever at the same Toonfest as Mike Peters(Mother Goose & Grimm), Mike has a Superman costume. They should totally coordinate costumes.
