Bonus comic
This was done for the day after Thanksgiving, the busiest shopping day of the year in the United States(”Black Friday”). I figured since it would be a stressful day, I’d draw up some retail humor.
I worked 5 more Christmas seasons after that, and provided a Black Friday comic for each year, and the year after I left. The subsequent comics were tamer.
Had a customer like this today… wanted chipotle mayo on the side. We were running out, so I gave her all we had left in that bottle and she said, “Can you fill it all the way to the top?” I said, “Only if you want to wait five minutes for me to go in the back, open up a new tub of dressing, pour it into a freshly-washed bottle, bring it out here and pour it into a little plastic cup for you.” Of course, she said, “Do that, thanks.”
